Animating Objects using YAKit Kids and ChatterPix Kids
YAKiT Kids
|
ChatterPix Pikds
|
These apps allow students to turn anything into a talking character. Add some eye, nose and mouth features, then simply record your message and as easy as that you've turned an inanimate object into a talking one. Both of these apps are the kids versions so they feature no ads and all images and stickers are kid friendly. Be sure to go to iPhone only to find them in the app store.

Lesson Idea 2
Persuasive fruits - After reading 'I Will Never, NOT Ever, Eat a Tomato', students selected their favourite fruit or vegetable and wrote a persuasive speech from the point of view of the fruit or vegetable. Some talks went longer than 30 seconds so we used iMovie to stitch the videos together. These examples are by Year 1 and 2 students. You can see more on our blog.
