This website is full of information in a child friendly format. While there are games and activities, I particularly love the Animals and Pets and Countries sections which are full of excellent information, sound bits and video clips which my students have always found engaging and informative.

A flash based pictorial database of around 65 animals. Each animal has a basic information report, ideal for sharing with and modelling to ES1 and S1. You can search the site using the habitats list, index or search function. There are also fact sheets and A4 images available to print.

The Little Shop of Physics is a collection of hands-on science experiments that are designed to be used by students at all grade levels. There are clips from the Science show as well as experiments you can do using common everyday objects and ones that you can do on your computer.
